For over ten years I have been doing an AIDS Walk. First in Philly, and now I've found my home in Atlantic City every year. This is one of the most important fundraisers I participate every year because HIV/AIDS is something that affects MY community. Only because of the advancement of science has this epidemic not directly impacted my own health. However, my community still hurts and medication is not accessible to everyone, so the epidemic continues.
